By now it is clear that Western elites were coopted into accepting and propelling a false narrative of ‘peace with Russia through economic prosperity’. Quite to the contrary it has enabled and encouraged the build up of an aggressively expansionist neo imperial regime that is bent on undermining European values and democracy. It is therefore our existential call to action to defend sovereignty and democracy in Ukraine.
